Opening at our Different Sites

Henry Moore Clinic

On Tuesday afternoon, our Henry Moore Clinic site on Smawthorne Lane closes at 13:00. Fryston Road Surgery is still open Tuesday afternoon and patients will be seen and treated from there. Our phone lines remain open until closing time.

If you have an early morning appointment booked at Henry Moore Clinic, then please use the buzzer at the front entrance to speak with reception staff.

Fryston Road Surgery

On Wednesday afternoon, our Fryston Road Surgery site in Airedale closes earlier. Our Henry Moore Clinic site is still open and patients will be seen and treated from there. Our phone lines remain open until closing time.

Access to Fryston Road Surgery is through the doors at the fromt of the building leading from the patient car parking.

Disabled access is found to the rear of the building.

 

When We Are Closed

When the surgery is closed there is still provision for patients to get advice and see a clinician if appropriate.

GP CARE WAKEFIELD which is the extended hours service. (Provided by all Wakefield GP Practices working cooperatively to cover the entire population of the Wakefield District).

NHS 111 Online

111 online is a fast and convenient alternative to the 111 phone service and provides an option for people who want to access 111 digitally. 

Your needs will be assessed and you will be given advice about whether you need:

  • Treat yourself at home
  • Go to a Primary Care Centre

If you need face to face medical attention you may be asked to attend a Primary Care Centre.

Urgent Treatment Centre - Pontefract Hospital

Pontefract Hospital is an Urgent Treatment Centre (UTC). This service is for non-life threatening illness or injury 24 hours a day and 7 days a week.

King Street NHS Walk-in Centre

You can walk into the King Street Walk In Centre in Wakefield any day between 10am and 10pm, including bank holidays, and the service is open for anyone over the age of six months. You do not need an appointment.
